2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or submitting an enquiry through it, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By engaging lexconavc's services pursuant to an engagement letter, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you should not submit an enquiry or engage our services.
3. Nature of Services
lexconavc provides legal advisory services limited to commercial, civil, and regulatory matters in Thailand. We do not practise criminal law or medical law. The specific scope of services for each client is confirmed in a written engagement letter prior to commencement of any work.
Advice provided by lexconavc is tailored to the specific facts and instructions provided by the client. It should not be treated as a general statement of law or applied to circumstances other than those in respect of which it was given.
Our services are available to clients located in Thailand and internationally, subject to any applicable regulatory restrictions on cross-border legal advice.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information as required to enable lexconavc to perform the agreed services. Providing false or misleading information may result in termination of the engagement without refund of fees paid.
You agree not to use information or advice provided by lexconavc for any purpose that is unlawful or contrary to professional conduct standards. You agree not to share legal advice received from lexconavc with third parties for purposes other than those contemplated by the engagement without our written consent.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, and structural elements — is the property of lexconavc and may not be reproduced, distributed, or adapted without our prior written permission.
Documents prepared by lexconavc in connection with a client engagement are provided for the client's use in respect of the relevant matter. They may not be reproduced or shared beyond that purpose without our written consent.
6. Payment Terms
Fees for all services are confirmed in writing before any engagement commences. Payment terms are specified in the engagement letter. Where payment is required in advance or in stages, work will commence or continue upon receipt of cleared funds as agreed.
All fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may accrue interest at the statutory rate applicable under Thai law. Disputes regarding invoices should be raised in writing within 14 days of the invoice date.
Refund terms are specified in the individual engagement letter. Fees for work already completed are generally not refundable except where we have failed to meet the agreed scope without reasonable cause.
7. Confidentiality
lexconavc treats all client information as strictly confidential and subject to professional secrecy obligations. We will not disclose client information to third parties except with the client's consent, as required by law, or as necessary for the performance of the engagement with the client's implicit authorisation.
Clients agree to treat any legal advice received from lexconavc as confidential and not to disclose it in circumstances where it may be used against lexconavc's professional interests.
8. Disclaimers
The content of this website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is established by accessing this website or submitting an enquiry — such a relationship is only established upon execution of a written engagement letter.
While we take care to ensure the accuracy of information on this website, the law changes and we cannot warrant that all content remains current. Specific legal questions should always be addressed through a formal engagement.
9. Limitation of Liability
lexconavc's liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees paid in respect of that engagement. We exclude all liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from the use of our services or reliance on advice, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits lexconavc's liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Thai law.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with reasonable written notice. In the event of termination by the client, fees for work completed to date will be due and payable. In the event of termination by lexconavc for cause (such as non-payment or provision of false information), fees for work completed will be retained and future obligations discharged.
Upon termination, lexconavc will return original documents provided by the client and deliver completed work product. Obligations of confidentiality survive termination.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions or an engagement, the parties agree to seek resolution informally in the first instance through written communication. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it may be referred to mediation or, failing that, to the courts of Thailand.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand for the resolution of any disputes.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the website following any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Existing engagements are governed by the terms in force at the time the engagement letter was executed.
